The Oscars　アカデミー賞公式iPhoneアプリが登場

日本時間3月8日の第82回アカデミー賞授賞式まであと約半月ですね。

日本向け生中継にはWOWOWが担当し、2月1日から過去のアカデミー賞受賞作品を放送したりプレイベントを開催中。日本語サイトも開設されています。

TechCrunchによると、AP通信がLivestreamと1年間の提携を結び、まずはアカデミー賞のレッドカーペット中継を行うそうです。

そして、今回iPhone/iPod touchユーザー向けには、モバイルサイト開設のほか、リアルタイムな受賞結果がわかる公式iPhoneアプリ「The Oscars」（無料）がリリースされています。

アカデミー賞全24部門のノミネート作品について詳細情報を閲覧できるほか、作品賞にノミネートした10作品のトレーラーもこのアプリで視聴できます。
また、TwitterやFacebookなどソーシャル連携で、映画ファン同士での受賞予想を共有できる機能も。
